it matters

Today I want you to know that all of your efforts make a difference. I want you to understand and feel deep in your bones that everything you put your energy toward carries your love in a way that heals.

It’s all worth it. It’s all witnessed. It’s all seen.

It is seen by the universe. It is seen by spirit. It is seen by those who love you. It is seen through the eyes of the heart.

When you feel burned out, drained, and exhausted, please know that your efforts are worth it. Everything you do that wears you out or wears you down still makes a difference. That energy and that love go to places where they can be used.

But remember: it is not a good way to burn yourself out. You don’t need to do so much. You can do less and still be just as helpful. You can learn how to ask for help, how to delegate, and how to be clear so people support you in ways that are truly helpful. You can actually do less.

Please remember that you can only do what you can do in the moments you have. Sometimes, you need to put everything down—all the struggles, all the work—and simply share a nice dinner with someone you love. You don’t need to bring up everything that’s stressful in this moment. Just enjoy each other’s company. Ask questions. Be curious. Listen for the love. Notice how we all express it differently.

It’s OK to have fun. It’s OK to let yourself be treated. It’s OK to let your hair down. And it’s also OK to not be OK.

Thank you for seeking out the natural world when you don’t feel OK. Everything that you do understand is enough. Everything you don’t understand—don’t worry too much about it at this time. In this moment, it is all good. You are all good.

You can love yourself fully just as you are. Include yourself fully in the love, in the efforts, in the listening, and in the understanding and acceptance.
