breathe

This is from my Higher Guidance today…
Tune in to your breath. Feel your body as you breathe in and out. This is everything. This is what matters.
Your whole system will take cues from your breath and attune to the rhythm you set as you notice how you are inhaling and exhaling. This kind of attention is always available to you. Give yourself as much as you desire.
To relax into your breath is love. It’s the feeling of loving yourself. Give yourself the peace and freedom to breathe in a way that feels good. Fill yourself with breath to the point you like to be filled and empty your breath to the point you like to be emptied.
When your movements align with inhaling and exhaling, this makes so much sense to your brain and body that they find a deeper relaxation and trust, which allows so much more to be possible. All the information you receive, perceive, absorb, and retain is much easier to manage when it flows like a channel, moving in and out like the tide. Remember to feel into and breathe with the natural world. Be like the water.
Sometimes you get stuck, you might freeze, and this makes it hard to breathe. Things can get backed up, seem overwhelming, and feel too heavy. This is a state of innocence. Please do not judge yourself. It’s not a punishment. It’s a natural, honest reaction to what feels to be too much.
You are not a hero for ignoring this state when it occurs, for pretending it is not happening, or for pushing yourself harder in the face of it. Resiliency is only helpful if it actually helps YOU. It is truly okay and beautiful to have all of your feelings. It’s okay to take your time. You do not always have to be moving forward. Your life is not a race. Set your own pace with your breath.
You can be a full, imperfect, flawed human and bring beauty wherever you go. The people who are for you will see you. There is no need to try so hard to be seen. You cannot open anyone else’s eyes for them.
Move as slow as you like. Those who do not wait for you will go on ahead. No one can enjoy your life for you. Breathe for yourself. Move for yourself. Be yourself. This is what there is to do.
There are others who you love to witness, to learn from, and to be with. Cherish those moments of togetherness. Breathe them in and exhale them fully as they happen. Each one is a miracle. To spend time with a friend is a blessing and of great value.
With all that this life and this world asks of you, be gentle with yourself. Be gentle with others. And again be gentle with yourself. Inhaling, exhaling, allowing, not forcing, opening, and softening. This is life and growth. This is death and rebirth. This is.
