I love The Alchemist and have read it so many times. This is one of my favorite lines. I feel like the only explanation for my life is the universe conspiring to help me.
Today I’m struck by the unknowable ripple effect our actions and expressions can have. I had no idea how many conversations I would spark as a result of my sharing or how many people would reach out publicly and privately to share their journey and cheer me on. I’m very moved by it all and reassured that I never have to do anything alone ever again.
The edge of vulnerability is scary and feels naked, but that uncomfortable space is also where the love can get in. I might be misunderstood or shamed and that’s a risk I’ll take. And sometimes amazing things can happen as a result, from people and places I would have never expected.
When I want to achieve something, I often have no idea how to actually do it, but that rarely stops me. I know from experience that I don’t have to have it all figured out, ever.
